Sellers/Buyers Consultation

In the age of technology we often default to email and text and in many cases the human factor is erased. At Two Hearts Really we believe that the human factor is the most important aspect of building a bond between client and agent. Obviously, Covid has played a role but many agents have resulted to “send me an email with exactly what you're looking for” as a means of saving time or carving out a little personal time in a busy schedule. We believe that relationships are the foundation of real estate and relationships begin with a Buyers/Sellers Consultation.


The Consultation is often the first face to face opportunity to meet and begin the real estate process. Think of it as an agent interview. As a buyer or seller this is your opportunity to vet an agent if for nothing else to determine if the agent is a good fit for you and your priorities. At Two Hearts Realty we believe that a Buyer/Sellers Consultation accomplishes three very important tasks.

First, a consultation provides a detailed needs analysis. Location, price point, and amenities are essential in locating and securing the clients dream home. Using the clients information allows us to set up a search to generate a list of homes that closely match exactly what the buyer/seller goals. Secondly a consultation allows us to educate the client on current market conditions. False expectations cause friction between clients and agents and this often leads to hard feelings which casts a shadow over the process. Since this may be an individual's first experience with real estate, time is spent reviewing the process and allows the client to ask questions which are important to them. Lastly, a consultation allows time for you to become familiar with the agent. Sometimes we meet people and almost immediately since a personality conflict. If this is the case it may be wise to interview other agents. At Two Hearts Realty our clients often become friends and this comes from truly putting the clients best interest above our own.


Our philosophy is when you reach the point of a buyers/sellers consultation you are about to make one of the largest purchases of your life. This can often be stressful, and you need someone in your corner who understands the market, is skilled in negotiations, is experienced and possesses the qualifications you are looking for in a Real Estate Agent. At Two Hearts Realty we pride ourselves on minimizing the stress level for our clients. When this is not possible we address the situation head on, keeping the client appraised of what is happening. Surprises are not always fun and it is always better to be transparent and honest regardless of the situation.
